Nursing Campuses

Nursing Education is offered at each campus at Jefferson State. A student should plan to complete the program on the campus to which the student is admitted. Transferring campuses to complete the program will be allowed only in extenuating circumstances based on resources available. The nursing Admission and Progression Committee will make the final decision in the event a transfer between campuses is requested.

Admission Terms

Admission Terms for the Nursing Program vary between campuses. All applications must be in by 4:30 p.m. on the deadline dates listed below:

Starting fall 2024 for the 2025 program deadlines

• Fall 2025: May 10, 2025
• Spring 2025: September 27, 2024
• Summer 2025: February 23, 2025
• Jefferson Campus admits students in the Spring, Summer & Fall semesters
• Shelby Campus admits students in the Spring, Summer & Fall semesters
• Evening Program (Shelby Campus)  admits students only in the Fall semester
• St. Clair-Pell City Campus admits students only in the Fall semester
• Chilton-Clanton Campus admits students only in the Fall semester
