Get Help from JSCC’s Virtual Writing Center!

Jefferson State’s Virtual Writing Center is available to students through the JSCC Library homepage at https://library.jeffersonstate.edu/WritingCenter.

Students may connect with tutors from the Jefferson, Pell City, and Clanton campuses via the Chat feature, upload a paper or assignment for review, and access self-serve resources, including Understanding Academic Writing, The Writing Process, Avoiding Plagiarism, Common Formatting and Citations, Evaluating Sources, and Information & Media Literacy.

Tutors from these campuses will be available online during their normal tutoring schedules:

Jefferson Campus
MW: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
TR: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

St. Clair-Pell City Campus
MW: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Chilton-Clanton Campus
TW: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
