Certificate Requirements
Certificates Leading to the Biomedical Equipment Technology Degree
The certificates offered serve as important milestones for individuals working toward an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree.
Each course completed within a certificate applies directly to the requirements of the corresponding associate degree.
Short Term Certificate (STC)
To be eligible for the Short-term Certificate (STC), students must complete the following courses.
Be eligible for ENG 101
Be eligible for MTH 100
Have a minimum 2.0 grade point average

After successfully completing the prescribed courses, students are awarded a Certificate of Completion by the college. However, before beginning coursework, students should meet with a program advisor to develop a plan for meeting all program requirements and ensuring a smooth path toward the certificate.
